Established in 1916 as the first country club in all of Central Washington, Yakima Country Club is indeed Central Washington’s finest golf experience. Located three miles east of downtown Yakima, YCC sits on 117 acres of pristine property overlooking the Yakima valley with stunning views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier. Second to none in quality our beautiful fairways are surrounded by apple orchards, vineyards, ponds and 100-year-old trees. Here at Yakima Country Club, we are proud to offer a no tee time policy and a full-service golf operation. This allows our members to play the course at their convenience and on their own time. When playing at YCC, no golfer will ever feel rushed or pushed by other golfers. We pride ourselves on making our members feel right at home and providing a truly personal and memorable golf experience. Whether you are a beginner looking to have fun with friends, intermediate, or advanced golfer looking for a challenge, our four sets of tees offer multiple playing opportunities for all level of players.

  • Practice Facilities

    • Yakima Country Club's practice facilities include a full driving range with grass tees and full flight golf balls. This range includes multiple target greens for practicing full shots. Work on your short game at the separate short game practice facility including multiple grass and sand bunkers and three practice greens for practicing all manner of short game shots from green-side chipping to bunker shots to 75 yard pitch shots. Don't forget your putting on the practice putting green. Next to the short game area is an additional grass practice tee for working on your short and mid irons with multiple targets. If you enjoy practicing, you will have multiple space to work on all aspects of your game at Yakima Country Club.

    • Throughout the season YCC members participate in a full calendar of men's division and couples tournaments and events including:

      • Presidents Cup 36 hole stroke play championship
      • Two man best-ball season long match play championship
      • Annual Appleknocker Invitational, member-guest 3 day event - the highlight of the season

  • Women's Golf Programs

    • The Yakima Country Club offers something for everyone: a challenging course, multiple tees, weekly games, friendly members, regular get-togethers and so much more.

      On Thursdays, we offer 9 and 18-holer groups, with a variety of formats and team compositions suitable for every skill level, which are typically followed by group lunches.

      Whether you’re already a star with a low handicap, a decent player just getting into playing competitively, or a casual golfer who’s simply in the market for a new social circle, we’d love to welcome you into our ladies golf community.

  • Professional Instruction

    • All the professionals will be happy to assist you in fitting for new golf clubs or learning to play golf better. We will give lessons with and without video, and for all facets of the game, from putting and chipping to bunker play to hitting different game shots on course to managing your game to the swing. We will also be active on the range when not in lessons, giving lots of tips and encouragement to play this fun game!
